In 2019 ARTISAN RESIDENTIAL DESIGN fully transitioned from a DESIGN/BUILD firm to a DESIGN/PROJECT MANAGEMENT firm. After 30 years of design and construction, the firm continues to provide high caliber Residential Design work for all types of residential projects. ARD continues to hold a contractor's license in Maryland and operates in the role of Construction Management for projects ARD has designed, serving as the liaison with skilled general contractors to navigate the work and to provide homeowners with a skilled advocate to oversee the execution of their design.

Construction Management & Consultant Services are provided by our Licensed Home Improvement Contractor including, but not limited to: - Serving as the Construction Manager for our in-house design projects, and providing assistance with outside contractor referrals and contract review. In this capacity we act as a client advocate & representative for oversight of outside designers, general contractors and tradespeople. - Research, preparation and client representation in Zoning Variance or Historic District Review hearings .
